Television and radio presenter Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp is overjoyed as she takes a trip down memory lane while celebrating her anniversary with her husband, Ian Bredenkamp.
Elana shared details of how and when her love story with her soulmate began, and how it shaped their journey to where they are today.
Posting on her Instagram page, Elana shared how their love story began, revealing that they first met when they were young.
Life took them on separate paths, but fate eventually brought them back together and this time, to remain in each other’s lives forever.
“When I met my husband, I was 18, and he was 22. @ianbredenkamp
Life took us on separate journeys, but when we reunited, we built something truly beautiful—strong relationships, a big, loving family, wealth, health, and, above all, GRACE,” Elana wrote.
Gratitude to God
In her post, Elana went on to express her deep gratitude for all the blessings in her life. She shared how fortunate she feels to be able to celebrate this special day alongside her husband, Ian, cherishing the love and journey they continue to build together.
“Today, I am deeply grateful to
The Almighty for preserving our love and guiding our journey together.
We are surrounded by people who pray for us, and through grace and mercy, we get to celebrate this special day,” Elana wrote.
More than just a husband
Closing her heartfelt anniversary tribute, Elana reflected on the profound role her husand, Ian, plays in her life. She expressed that he is more than just a husband-he is her best friend, her greatest support and her everything.
“I didn’t just marry my best friend — I married the best dad, the most supportive partner, and … the man who makes the best coffee!
Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, and blessings,” Elana wrote.
