Social media influencer and activist Dominic Zaca has filed a case against actor and reality TV star, Phila Madlingozi, accusing him of making death threats.
Zaca, popularly known as “Gay Thanos” on Tiktok, identifies as both gay and non-binary. She claims that Phila Madlingozi, who is the son of legendary musician Ringo Madlingozi, has been making derogatory remarks about her on social media.
According to Zaca, Phila made a statement on his social media platform, saying “Dominic Zaca is a South African man who masquerades as a woman and he goes around talking about me.”
The two have a history of exchanging jabs on social media, but this time, their feud escalated to the point of police involvement.
Zaca addressed the situation in a Tiktok video, stating that she has officially reported Madlingozi for allegedly threatening to kill her and insisting that she should take the threat seriously.
In the video, Zaca mentioned that she initially did not believe Madlingozi was obsessed with her and assumed he was just seeking attention ─ until Tuesday, when Madlingozi allegedly stated that he would kill her.
This was not Zaca’s first death threat
According to Zaca, this is not the first time she has received a death threat. Last year, she was also allegedly threatened by another public figure.
While discussing Madlingozi’s alleged threat in the video, Zaca also brought up an incident from December last year, stating that she has been “threatened” by a well-known individual. She added that if anything were to happen to her, there were only two public figures who had threatened her life and encouraged their audiences to harm her.
Although Zaca did not initially name the “other public figure” in the video, one of her Tiktok followers asked in the comments section whether was it Patricia Tumi Motsoeneng, popularly known as “Gogo Skhotheni” who had threatened her, and she confirmed that it was indeed her. Zaca also further alleged that “Gogo Skhotheni” had threatened her multiple times.
