‘It is such an honour to be your mom’-Nandi Madida celebrates daughter’s 6th birthday

South African singer and actress Nandi Madida melted hearts as she celebrated her daughter, Nefertiti, on her 6th birthday.

The actress who is a devoted mother of two, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to her little girl. In her message, she expressed how incredibly special and unique Nefertiti is, while also reflecting on the deep honour and joy of being her mother.

Nandi Madida is married to renowned musician Zakhele Madida, widely known as “Zakes Bantwini”. The couple has been together since 2016, building a beautiful life and family together.

As she penned this beautiful note to mark this special milestone , this is what she wrote:

“It’s something else when your last born, is no longer a baby. To my sweet girl Queen Nefertiti! I can’t believe you’re 6years old. It is such an honour being your mom, I’m so inspired and proud of you! Love you dearly. Happy birthday, thank you for choosing me to be your mother. Your story has inspired so many to understand and celebrate their kids. You did that! Love you soooo much Nefi!,” Nandi wrote.

Inspiration to many

As Nandi continued to celebrate her daughter, she poured her heart into her message, expressing deep love and admiration. She encouraged Nefertiti to always embrace and take pride in her neurodivergence, reminding her that she is a source of inspiration to many.

Neurodivergence refers to differences in brain function and cognition that affect how people think, learn, and interact with the world. It includes conditions like autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other neurological variations.

Nandi highlighted how her daughter’s uniqueness and personal journey have the power to uplift and positively impact the world.

This is what she wrote:

“Continue to dance to the beat of your own drum birthday girl.. and continue to be proud of your neurodivergence, continue to inspire and uplift the world with your uniqueness and story,” Nandi wrote.
