Spring has officially sprung, and Makhadzi is bringing the heat!

What better way to kick off the season than with fresh music to get you moving? The queen of Bolobedu is dropping her much-anticipated album, Sesi Ka Rose, this Friday, 5th September 2025, and fans are already counting down.

Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona — better known as Makhadzi — is no stranger to hit-making. Ever since Matorokisi catapulted her into the spotlight back in 2019, she’s been owning the charts and dance floors across Mzansi. And with Sesi Ka Rose, she’s promising nothing less than pure vibes.

Taking to Instagram to share the exciting news, Makhadzi posted a serene snap of herself in a white gown, looking peaceful and radiant in a new location — clearly soaking up some calm before the storm of her album drop.

In her caption, she teased fans with a taste of what’s to come…

“Just wanted a fresh air with a new location to make sure this album, make you jump out of the bath when you hear a car passing by playing it .The link is on my bio you can now presave. Let’s goooo,” she wrote.

Who is Sesi Ka Rose?

It looks like Makhadzi’s not just dropping bangers — she’s telling a story too. Giving her fans a little taste of what Sesi Ka Rose is all about, the star took to Instagram to share some insight into the meaning behind the album title.

“Sesi Ka Rose is a hard-working lady, who can work anywhere as long as she gets money to feed her family. But she makes sure that on weekends she goes out with friends to party. She likes going to a tavern, but her friends force her to go to a fancy club because they enjoy her entertainment.

“She doesn’t even understand English songs, but she pretends like she knows. When they play slow songs, okare akaloma DJ ore adlale fast beats — her aim is to sweat when she’s dancing.

“She’s the only person who doesn’t sit down at groove — she dances till sunrise. Sesi Ka Rose, she’s a happy soul. She always wants to see people happy,” she wrote.
