From 22 to 26 October 2025, the world’s top beach volleyball stars will hit Cape Town’s shores for a high-energy showdown on the iconic white sands of Camps Bay.
For the first time ever, the Beach Pro Tour rolls into South Africa, bringing world-class action to one of the most stunning coastal settings on the planet.
With Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean as a jaw-dropping backdrop, Camps Bay will turn into a vibrant beach arena as 96 elite athletes from 48 nations battle it out in one of the most anticipated stops on the global tour. Expect fast-paced matches, beach vibes, live DJs, local food stalls, and a festival-style atmosphere that captures the heart of Cape Town’s cultural flair.
The Beach Pro Tour, run by Volleyball World and the FIVB, is the sport’s top-tier international circuit for men’s and women’s teams. A win here is a major milestone—right up there with the Olympics and World Championships.

Cape Town set for global spotlight as Beach Pro Tour nears
With just weeks to go until this world-class event hits South African shores, Anthony Makoena, President of Volleyball South Africa, shared his excitement:
