The many sides of Jon Bon Jovi
As the founder and frontman of Bon Jovi since 1983, Jon Bon Jovi has penned countless hits that connect with millions through their heartfelt, often autobiographical lyrics. Beyond the band, he’s co-written 16 studio albums and released two solo records, solidifying his status as a rock songwriting powerhouse.
In the ’90s, Jon took his talents to the screen, acting in films like Moonlight and Valentino and making memorable appearances on hit TV shows such as Sex and the City, 30 Rock, Ally McBeal, and The West Wing.
But Jon’s impact goes far beyond music and acting. Together with his wife Dorothea, he launched The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation in 2006, a charitable initiative dedicated to fighting poverty and homelessness. His humanitarian efforts earned him the prestigious title of MusiCares Person of the Year in 2024 which was a true testament to his heart as much as his art.
