Things between Nollywood star Regina Daniels and her billionaire ex-husband Senator Ned Nwoko have taken a shocking new turn — and it’s all playing out right before our eyes on social media.

According to a BBC report published on 5 November, 2025, tensions between the former couple erupted after Regina referred to Ned as her “ex-husband” in a viral video, vowing to “fight for [her] children” and raise them “with or without his support.” She revealed that her family had been in “turmoil,” while Ned hit back publicly, accusing her of drug abuse — a claim that sent shockwaves across social media.

But just when fans thought the storm might settle, Ned reignited the drama. The senator recently took to Instagram to share two explosive videos “allegedly” showing Regina’s brother, Sammy, harassing his children and domestic staff.

Ned didn’t hold back — his caption detailed what was happening in the clip and seemed aimed directly at Regina’s camp, adding fuel to the already messy fallout. This is what he wrote:

“These videos show Sammy, Regina’s brother, repeatedly coming to my home and harassing my children and domestic staff, especially whenever I was not around. His visits were often aggressive and disruptive. This is someone I sponsored through his last two years at the University of Ekpoma. I bought his musical instruments, rented and furnished a flat for him in Abuja, in addition to the house I bought for Regina in Asaba before our marriage for the use of all of them. I also routinely provided allowances to all members of the family, including her mother, Rita Daniel. Indeed, in the last two years, I have a record of transferring ₦125 million to her alone.

“When Regina started her rehabilitation, there was a clear instruction by the doctors to strictly restrict people, especially her enablers, from having access to her. The therapy was arranged after I noticed troubling changes in her behavior linked to her dependence on certain illegal substances, including going for 48 hours without sleeping and eating every two hours,” he wrote.
