Yep… today we are whipping up a Creamy Paprika Beef & Sweetcorn Skillet — aka comfort in a pan, aka the reason your mouth is about to fall in love.
When I put this recipe together, I was on my usual mission: keep it simple, keep it quick, keep it wallet-friendly. Because let’s be honest… how are our bank accounts looking at this point in the month? Thriving? Surviving? Crying in the corner?

How to make Creamy Paprika Beef & Sweetcorn Skillet
Serves: 2–3
Ingredients:
- 250g beef strips OR mince
- ½ onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp mild curry powder
- Salt & black pepper
- ½ cup sweetcorn (frozen or canned)
- 3 tbsp fresh cream
- 1 tbsp oil
- Chopped parsley (optional)
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan → add onions and sauté until soft.
- Add garlic and beef, season with paprika, curry powder, salt and pepper.
- Cook until the beef browns.
- Add sweetcorn and mix well.
- Pour in the cream and let it simmer for 3 minutes until slightly thick.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Garnish with parsley.
Serve With:
- Rice
- Pasta
- Pasta
- Mashed potatoes
- Toast
- Or just enjoy it as a warm bowl
