But every now and then, it surprises you, sparks fly (the good kind!), and suddenly, you are seeing love in a whole new light.
That’s exactly what happened for singer Thabsie and her husband, Thando Vokwana. What started as a blossoming romance turned into marriage—and now, a decade later, the couple is celebrating 10 years of wedded bliss.
The duo tied the knot back in November 2015, and while there are no little feet running around just yet, the pair seem happy soaking up life together, enjoying every moment before taking on bigger responsibilities.
10 year milestone
To mark the milestone, Thabsie shared an emotional post on Instagram, pouring out her feelings in only the way she can. Here’s what she had to say on this very special anniversary:
“10 years married to the love of my life. 10 years of making me watch Harry Potter movies over and over again, 10 years of you always controlling the aux even though I’m the musician, 10 years of me being right and you being wrong and 10 years of you spending 1 day with me so you can spend the next 3 days playing golf, but jokes aside.
“You have held my heart in your steady hands through every season we have faced. You are gentle, you are kind and so patient with me. You really are love personified. I know God is real because He gave me you. I will love you in every tomorrow we are blessed to share. Happy Anniversary Thando Chuma Zukisani Vokwana,” wrote Thabsie.
