Celebrity Chef Siba Mtongana opens her new Food Shop in Cape Town!

If you are thinking about which new food spot to try out this festive season, look no further — Siba Mtongana has just opened The Siba Deli Foodshop and Eatery in Cape Town’s Longkloof Precinct at 7 Park Road, in Gardens.

She’s known for her show Siba’s Table, which aired on Food Network (channel 175 on DSTV), where she showcased her signature bold flavours and creative dishes. Over the years, she’s earned a devoted following for her vibrant approach to food and her passion for creating memorable culinary experiences.

Siba’s fresh flavours await

Now, the award-winning chef is inviting fans to take a shot left to her new spot, explore the space, sample her new menu, and enjoy the fresh, lively atmosphere she’s created — just in time for the festive season.

Sharing her excitement on Instagram, this is what Siba wrote:

“Now finally. The Siba Deli Foodshop and Eatery is officially open in the heart of Cape Town… a dream more than eight years in the making. What began as a vision has now become a home for flavour, comfort and everyday joy. This week we are in our soft-opening week gently testing our systems as we fine-tune the magic, so please pop in, say hello and feel the heart behind what we’ve built and share this moment with us in the newly built upmarket precinct in Gardens, @longkloof,” wrote Siba.

New beginnings

Continuing with her message, Siba wrote:

“We can’t wait to share our complete menu and deli delights this weekend. Retail meets hospitality. This is a beginning of another new chapter, lots of exciting things in the pipeline with this new venture. This is the day indeed!,” wrote Siba.
