Anyway, my people, guess what we are whipping up today? So I woke up this morning with a cute little healthy snack idea for us. At first I was like, “Hmm, will the fam even vibe with this?” But then I thought—ah, why not? We are adults, we can try new things… occasionally.
So today, fam, we are making a Refreshing Cucumber–Avocado Energy Bowl.
Yes, keyword: ENERGY.
Because this festive season? Yoh. Whether December is giving hugs or giving us flames, we need energy. After all, ENERGY is the ability to…? (I will let you finish that one. Go on, be poetic. Hahaha!)

How to make a Refreshing Cucumber–Avocado Energy Bowl
Serves: 1–2
Ingredients:
- 1 medium cucumber, sliced
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1 small handful cherry tomatoes, halved
- ¼ cup plain yogurt (or coconut yogurt)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
- A pinch of black pepper
- A pinch of mixed herbs (or dried parsley)
- A small handful of pumpkin seeds (optional but healthy)
Method:
- Prep your base: Slice the cucumber and add it to a bowl.
- Add creaminess: Dice the avocado and place it on top of the cucumber.
- Colour & freshness: Add the cherry tomatoes.
- Make the dressing: In a small cup, mix yogurt, lemon juice, honey, black pepper, and herbs.
- Combine: Pour the dressing over the bowl.
- Finish: Sprinkle pumpkin seeds on top for crunch (optional but so good!).
