‘Happy Birthday, Mommy’: Jennifer Lopez marks her Mom’s birthday with a sweet message

Jennifer Lopez is feeling grateful as her mom, Guadalupe Rodríguez, just hit a major milestone as she recently celebrated her 80th birthday in The Bellagio, Las Vegas.

And if there’s one thing J.Lo is making clear, it’s just how blessed she feels to have her mother reach such a meaningful age.

Turning 80 is no small feat, and Jennifer clearly sees it as something worth celebrating. Reaching that stage of life is a true blessing, and it’s one her family is soaking up with plenty of love and appreciation.

For those who may not know, Guadalupe Rodríguez is mom to three daughters—Jennifer, Leslie, and Lynda Lopez. She previously married David Lopez, the girls’ father, though the pair went their separate ways in 1999.

To mark the special occasion, the Goin’ In singer took to her Instagram page and shared a heartwarming birthday tribute to her mom.

Skipping the lyrics and glamour this time, Jennifer kept it simple and sincere, pouring her gratitude straight from the heart as she honoured her mother’s milestone moment. This is what she had to say:

“Happy Birthday Mommy. 80 years young!!! You are the heart of our family, my greatest teacher, and my forever example of strength, grace, and unconditional love. Everything I am is because of you…your sacrifices, your faith, your humor, and the way you love so deeply.

“Thank you for always believing in me, holding me up, and reminding me who I am. I am so blessed to be your daughter and I love you beyond words. Here’s to 80 years of beauty, resilience, and love and to many, many more moments together. It made me so happy we all got to celebrate together and at your favourite place on earth. VEGAS! Happy birthday mama!!,” wrote Jennifer.
