Cardi B is in full celebration mode — and who can blame her?

The rap queen’s long-awaited second studio album Am I The Drama? dropped on 19 September, 2025, via Atlantic Records, and it’s already making major waves.

Serving as the follow-up to her GRAMMY-winning debut Invasion of Privacy from 2018, this new album marks Cardi’s big return after seven years — and clearly, the wait was worth it. Am I The Drama? didn’t just arrive, it exploded — debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making it her second album to snag that top spot.

The numbers are just as jaw-dropping: 200,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, with 145 million on-demand streams and 88,000 in pure sales. That makes it the biggest debut week for a female R&B/hip-hop album in 2025 so far!

Feeling the love, Cardi hopped on Instagram to show her appreciation to the fans who made it all happen. And while she’s known for dropping bars, this time she let the caption do the talking.

Here’s what she had to say:

“Thank you sooo much everybody that supported my album!! Two weeks ago the album was projected to do 115k off of Outside and Imaginary Players.. I didn’t know what the outcome was gonna be I didn’t put out a album in 7 years and haven’t put out as much music in the last year but we just surpassed all that expectation…,” she wrote.

Fans at the forefront

Not stopping there and continuing her heartfelt love letter to fans, Cardi B went on to say:

“Thank you to everyone who gave the album a listen, did a video to the songs and everything!! You don’t know the confidence and boost you gave me in my music to keep pushing.. I can’t wait to see you guys on tour. Tonight we celebrate!!! I can’t pop no champagne… but maybe I can open up some cranberry juice or something!,” she wrote.

Little Miss Drama Tour

And if you thought Cardi was stopping at a No. 1 album and a sweet thank-you post — think again. She’s already gearing up to hit the road!

The rap superstar also announced her first-ever headlining arena tour, fittingly titled the Little Miss Drama Tour, set to launch in early 2026.

The tour, which supports her chart-topping album Am I The Drama?, kicks off on 11 February, 2026, in Palm Springs. From there, Cardi will be bringing the heat to major cities across North America, including Las Vegas, Vancouver, Seattle, Austin, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C.
