“Ndim Inkosazana is deeply personal to me. The name itself means “I am the queen,” and that’s exactly what I want women, especially my curvy queens, to remember when they wear my designs. As a Fully Figured Queen myself, I have experienced the struggle of finding comfortable, stylish clothing that celebrates my curves. With Ndim Inkosazana, I aim to create pieces that make women feel confident, beautiful, and empowered,” said AngieDaQueen.

Growing a black-owned clothing brand
Starting and growing a black-owned clothing brand comes with many challenges. AngieDaQueen talks about some of the hardest moments she faced during this journey.
“One of the biggest challenges has been creating clothing that caters to the needs of Fully Figured Women, who often struggle to find comfortable, flattering clothing. I have worked tirelessly to ensure that my designs not only celebrate curves but also provide comfort and support. It’s been a journey, but seeing my curvy queens feel confident and beautiful in my designs makes it all worth it,” said AngieDaQueen.

Every design element, from colors to patterns, is carefully chosen to reflect the message of Ndim Inkosazana: that every woman, regardless of size or shape, is a queen,” said AngieDaQueen.
