The Real Housewives Of Durban (RHOD) Star Jojo Robinson recently shared a cinematic video of herself with her husband Calven Robinson, capturing a quiet moment as he officially retires after 40 years of work.

While the video itself is subtle, her caption tells the full story as it reflects on her husband’s dedication, the life they have built together, and the importance of enjoying the next chapter.

The couple is now documenting their retirement journey on their YouTube channel Retired with the Robinsons.

Below is the message she shared:

“After 40 years of long hours and hard work, my husband, Calven, has officially retired. I’m so proud of everything he has achieved and the life he has given our family. I’m glad he can now spend the rest of his life enjoying that with us. He is proof that hard work is the foundation of success.

“Too many people get caught up in asking “when is it enough” and forget that life is unpredictable and there are no guarantees. Calven never intended to work until old age forced him to stop — by the time you reach that point, it’s harder to enjoy what you’ve worked for.

“We are so proud and grateful. I have never met anyone who worked as hard as he did, apart from his dad, of course. The Robinson family has always had strong work ethic. Cheers to new chapters and to Retired with the Robinsons — exploring what retirement looks like today. We have created a YouTube channel so you can follow our journey, and shorter versions of the videos are shared on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Let the forever holiday begin.
