Damian ‘Jnr Gong’ Marley electrified a capacity crowd at Boomtown 2024 over the weekend, delivering a performance that will be remembered as one of the highlights of the festival. The Boomtown festival, held just outside Winchester, drew close to 80,000 people this year, with many eagerly anticipating Damian Marley’s performance as one of the main events. The festival concluded with a spectacular closing ceremony at the Grand Central Arena, where Damian Marley’s set was accompanied by a dazzling display of fireworks, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Despite the overall success of Boomtown 2024, the festival was marred by a tragic incident, as one person sadly lost their life due to a medical emergency. Festival organisers have expressed their condolences to the family and assured that an investigation is underway.
