Dr Ziphozenkosi Nzimande marks son Neyame’s 2nd birthday with sweet words

This past Saturday, 23 August 2025, Dr Ziphozenkosi Nzimande showed some love to her little one as she celebrated her son Neyame’s second birthday with a cute post on Instagram.

Married to award-winning gospel star Dumi Mkokstad, the couple tied the knot back in June 2019 and now have three children together.

While they usually keep things simple and sweet, Dr Ziphozenkosi didn’t leave her followers behind as she penned this message.

The post was short, sweet, and packed with love with these words:

“You are everything good and everything perfect. My “exceedingly & abundantly more than I asked”.
I declare that you will grow in wisdom, stature, and favour with God and man. I declare that your laughter will never run dry, your joy will never be stolen, and your future will shine brighter than the sun.
I declare that the hand of the Lord will rest upon you all the days of your life, and that goodness and mercy will follow you wherever you go. My precious boy, HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY,” she wrote.

Heart touching Tiktok video

Still soaking in the birthday vibes, Dr Ziphozenkosi Nzimande took to TikTok with a touching video that left many followers emotional.

In the emotional clip, she opened up about her struggles with infertility, revealing the challenges she faced. She also spoke honestly about the pressure she felt — not only from family, but also from the public eye.

Dr Ziphozenkosi shared that her first child, Lenani, was born via surgery after a long period of prayer and waiting. So, when she found out she was pregnant with Neyame, her second child, she was overwhelmed with gratitude.

She ended her message with a heartfelt prayer for others still hoping for their own miracle, saying she’s trusting God to remember every woman and man walking the same journey.

Here’s what she had to say in the video:
