Former WWE ring announcer and singer Lilian Garcia is going through an incredibly painful time after losing her childhood best friend, Debbie O’ Dell, who sadly passed away following a heart attack.
Still struggling to process the loss, Garcia took to her Instagram page to share a deeply emotional message that reflected the rare and lasting bond they shared.
She spoke about a friendship that began in childhood and endured a lifetime—one she now carries in her heart as they are separated by death.
Writing through tears and looking back on the many memories they shared, Garcia poured her emotions into the post. This is what she wrote:
“I have been devastated since finding out last night that one of my childhood besties died suddenly from a heart attack. The tears haven’t stopped flowing. I can’t believe this world no longer has Debbie O’Dell in it. To say she was an angel on earth is an understatement. She had the purest soul of anyone I have ever known. Her love for people was so beautiful and the way she listened made you feel truly special,” wrote Garcia.

A bond that time couldn’t break
Continuing in her post, Garcia further shared:
“I met Debbie when I was in the 9th grade and she was in 10th. Her kindness came at a time I needed it most and she never left my side. Throughout the years, we stayed connected celebrating each other’s win which included her having 3 children.
“I know Debbie is in a better place now and that I will see her again but for right now, this one hurts. Please help me send condolences to her husband, kids, family members & friends. May her memory teach us all to always lead with love. I love you Debbie and I will miss you so much. You will never know the tremendous impact you have made on my life. Rest in Peace my dear friend and sister,” wrote Garcia.
