Actress Simz Ngema and her husband Tino Chinyani

‘I love you, Tinotenda Ramba Chinyani’ — Simz Ngema pens heartfelt birthday tribute to hubby Tino

Ah, love—it’s got this funny way of turning even the coolest, most composed people into softies with a flair for poetry. You don’t have to be Shakespeare; just be in love, and suddenly, you have got bars.

Speaking of love-struck moments, remember when internet fave Tino Chinyani had us all in our feelings after writing the sweetest message to his wife, actress Simphiwe ‘Simza’ Ngema? He didn’t just post a cute pic—he declared his undying love, and honestly, the timeline was melting.

Well, plot twist—it’s Simza’s turn now. Tino just celebrated his birthday this September, and Simza decided to return the favour with a heartfelt note of her own. And where else would she drop it but on Instagram?

Thinking of how to really touch her hubby’s heart, she came through with this message:

“You are an amazing human being, a great father, son and brother but this post is not about that, it’s about who you are to me and how you make me feel. You have amazing eyes. They are beautiful but what I love about them the most is how they look at me. Every time you look at me, I feel loved. You inspire me to love harder.

“You have an amazing mind that forces me to better myself. You are a big dreamer, you have inspired me to want more for myself and out of life, like you always say, God is not on a budget. Your spontaneity used to make me nervous but from it I have learnt to live a little more. I have learnt to smell the roses, watch the sunrise and always be in the moment.

“Your resilience has taught me to always try again no matter what. You have taught me to knock on doors and not be afraid to fail. You fail confidently, then get up as if you have never failed in your life,” she wrote.

Life lessons throughout the marriage

Still deep in her feelings, Simza didn’t hold back as she continued pouring her heart out in the message:

“You have taught me to shut out the noise and focus on us and building our family. Most importantly, your love for God has taught me to have a better relationship with God, to be aware of His presence all around me every day.

“I love you Tinotenda Ramba Chinyani. I don’t know how we got here (it must be God) but I’m loving every moment. Happy birthday. If you ever had any doubts, let me reassure you, you are doing great. Thank you for being you. Always and forever,” she wrote.

Birthday well spent

Now, not one to leave fans wondering, birthday boy Tino Chinyani took to his own Instagram page and gave a glimpse into the birthday celebrations by sharing photos of how he, Simza, and their kids spent the special day.

This is how he captioned his post:

“The best birthday ever spent with the people that matter the most,”
