Media mogul, mom, and all-round powerhouse, Basetsana Kumalo may juggle a hectic schedule and a cabinet full of titles, but there’s one role she holds dearest — being a mom.
The former beauty queen and businesswoman, who tied the knot with Romeo Kumalo back in 2000, is a proud mom of three: uShaka Kgositsile Emmanuel, Nkosinathi Gabriel, and Bontle ba Morena Jasmine Kumalo.
Currently enjoying some well-deserved downtime on a family vacation — or as she affectionately calls it, “Vacay with the cubs” — Basetsana took a moment to slow down, reflect, and share a heartfelt message with her children. While the location remains under wraps, the love she poured into her words was anything but hidden.
Never one to hold back when it comes to matters of the heart, here’s the touching message Basetsana shared with her little ones on her Instagram page:
“My highest calling is being a mother.
“Every day I look at each of you and marvel at the gift that you are in my life. You are beautiful souls, each carrying your own light, your own unique personality, and your own way of seeing the world. You remind me that God creates no duplicates, only masterpieces.
“I want you to know how deeply proud I am to be your mother. Watching you grow, laugh, learn, and even stumble is one of the greatest privileges of my life. Each of you carries something so special within , something the world needs and my joy is to nurture it, protect it, and celebrate it,” she wrote.

Loved beyond measure
She didn’t stop there — Basetsana went on to write even more touching words to her children:
“Always remember you are loved beyond measure. You are enough just as you are. Your kindness, your curiosity, your courage, and your hearts make the world brighter.
“No matter where life takes you, know that I will always be your home, your safe place, and your greatest cheerleader. My love for you has no end and no condition, it is forever. With all my heart…Mom,” she wrote.
