R&B star Monica made sure her daughter Laiyah felt all the love on her special day, throwing a fabulous birthday bash in her honour.
The Angel of Mine singer, a proud mom of three—sons Romelo and Rodneyy, and daughter Laiyah—shares her life with husband and artist manager Anthony “Ant” Wilson.
Taking to Instagram, Monica penned a heartfelt message for Laiyah, reminding her just how loved and valued she is. Putting her emotions into words, the singer shared:
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY @laiyah ….
“Daughter you float effortlessly into every space you enter… You are the joy of our hearts & the love of our souls … Your presence is precious , don’t ever let anyone take it for granted . Including yourself. Love Mommy,” she wrote.
Monica also gave fans a glimpse of the big birthday bash with some adorable photos.
The Boy Is Mine Tour
Switching gears from birthday celebrations to business, Monica is gearing up to hit the road with her upcoming tour, The Boy Is Mine, teaming up with fellow R&B icon Brandy, who also features on the hit track.
Kicking off on 16 October, 2025, in Cincinnati, the tour promises a series of unforgettable shows, wrapping up in mid-December—with the main tour finale slated for 7 December 2025 in Houston.
Fans can also look forward to special appearances by Kelly Rowland, Muni Long, and Jamal Roberts, making this tour one not to miss.
