Step into the rhythm of something extraordinary!

Grammy Award-winner and Oscar-nominated music maestro Lebo M, the genius behind Disney’s The Lion King and electrifying World Cup ceremonies, proudly presents the African Icons Tribute Concert — a dazzling homage to the legendary Joseph Shabalala, founder of the world-renowned Ladysmith Black Mambazo at Durban Playhouse this heritage day on 24 September 2025.

The buzz for the African Icons Tribute Concert kicked off in style with a star-studded media launch this past Saturday. Held at Nu Metro Cinemas in Ballito Junction Mall, the event featured the exclusive premiere of Nkosinathi Shabalala’s highly anticipated music video, Imisebenzi.

The launch drew in a vibrant mix of media personalities, top influencers, and industry heavyweights — all coming together to celebrate talent, legacy, and culture. With Nkosinathi stepping into the spotlight to honour his legendary father Joseph Shabalala, the scene is perfectly set for an unforgettable Heritage Day celebration.
