Singer and songwriter Usher Raymond added another major accolade to his name this week, as he was honoured with the Virgil Abloh Award during Harlem’s Fashion Row 18th Annual Fashion Show, held on Tuesday, 9 September, 2025.
The star-studded celebration also paid tribute to other cultural heavyweights like Ruth Carter and Christiane Pendarvis, with guests showing up in their best “Black Tie, Harlem Fly” looks for the ultra-exclusive affair.
Known for spotlighting multicultural talent in fashion, Harlem’s Fashion Row continues to shake up the industry with bold events that bring together influential names across fashion, media, and entertainment—creating real platforms for underrepresented designers.
Never one to keep good news to himself, Usher shared the moment with fans on Instagram, posting a snapshot from the event along with a heartfelt message:
“Honored to receive the Virgil Abloh Award last night from the @harlemsfashionrow and keep inspiring future generations to be fearless,” he wrote.
Love is in the air
Now moving to his love life, Usher gave fans a peek into his romantic side with a series of sweet snaps featuring him and his wife, Jennifer.
The Hey Daddy singer took to Instagram to show some love, posting intimate moments that made it clear their bond is stronger than ever.
He turned up the charm in his caption, writing:
