Final goodbye

Since the announcement of her passing, messages of condolences have poured in from across the world—from fans to fellow artists and industry colleagues.

Among those paying tribute was gospel singer Daddy Owen, who took to his Instagram page to share a touching farewell, praying for comfort and strength for Betty’s family during this difficult time.

This is what he wrote:

“Rest in peace to one of our own, Betty Bayo. Our hearts are deeply broken by this loss. Betty was more than just a voice in the Gospel industry, she was a vessel of grace, a woman who poured her soul into every song and inspired countless lives through her ministry. Her passion, humility, and unwavering faith touched the hearts of many and will forever be remembered.

“To her family, friends, and the entire Gospel fraternity, may the God of all comfort surround you with His peace during this difficult time. Though Betty has departed from this world, her voice will continue to echo in our hearts and her legacy will live on through the many souls she uplifted. Heaven has truly gained a worshipper. Rest well, Betty. You finished your race with faith and love,” wrote Daddy.
