WATCH: How Nollywood Diva Chika Ike marked her fabulous 40th Birthday!

Every other week, another famous face is joining the fabulous forties club — and they are all doing it in style.

This time around, it’s Nollywood sweetheart Chika Ike who stole the spotlight, and of course, she wasn’t about to let her 40th birthday pass quietly.

The actress and entrepreneur marked the occasion with a celebration that was both heartwarming and unforgettable. But unlike the typical star-studded birthday bashes we are used to seeing, Chika decided to do something a little different — and a whole lot more meaningful.

Instead of red carpets, popping bottles, and luxury getaways, the actress spent her special day surrounded by 40 women from the community — dancing, laughing, sharing gifts, and spreading joy all around.

The highlight? A beautiful video she posted on her Instagram page showing her dancing with these women because she wanted to empower them and make them smile.

Writing on her post, this is what she said:

“When I thought about celebrating my 40th birthday, so many ideas came to mind and from my amazing team. But this time, I wanted something not just lavish like I’ve done over the years …I wanted something truly memorable and impactful.

“The theme was #Chika40Smiles, because I wanted to empower 40 women and make them smile. It was important for me to do this at this point in my life. I’m a mom now, in a different space and season, I wanted to celebrate in a way that reflected that.

“I’m so thankful that I got to do this exactly how I envisioned it …actually, it turned out even better than I imagined! We laughed, cried, prayed, danced, and celebrated together. This was the best birthday celebration I have ever had because it meant so much more. It was inspired by my mum ….by all that she gave and sacrificed for me. Now that I’m a mum myself, I can deeply relate . We had such a great time! I danced so much that my wig and shoe gave way! To all the mothers out there, you are doing amazing. Keep shining, keep loving, and keep smiling. I Love You!,” wrote Chika.
