Happy Wednesday, fam! So tell me… how are we really doing today? Are we thriving, surviving, a little tired, slightly dramatic, or somewhere between “I have got this” and “I need a nap”? Maybe you are feeling great, maybe you are a bit down, maybe life is throwing plot twists like a soap opera. Whatever the mood of the day is, one thing is always true: the little blessings we have right now are the very things someone else is praying for. So let’s take a breath, live in the moment, be grateful for what’s on our plate (literally and figuratively), and tackle the day one step at a time. Alright, alright—before I turn this into a full motivational seminar and start handing out life advice like free samples at the grocery store… let’s get to today’s real agenda. The star of today’s show is: Herb Meatball Bake. Yoooo guys… listen. When I say this recipe is dangerously good, I mean it. Like “you will go back for seconds… and then pretend the third plate doesn’t coun” good. And yes, yes—I know I say this about almost every recipe. But come on now… you know I wouldn’t lie to you about food. So with that said, grab your apron, bring your appetite, and let me walk you through this step-by-step so you can make this absolute beauty yourself. How to make Herb Meatball Bake Ingredients:For the meatballs: 500 g minced beef 1 small onion, finely chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1 egg ¼ cup breadcrumbs ½ teaspoon paprika Salt and black pepper to taste For the creamy sauce 1 tablespoon butter 1 tablespoon flour 1 cup milk ¼ cup cream ½ teaspoon mixed herbs Salt and pepper to taste Topping: ½ cup grated cheese A little chopped parsley (optional) Method: Prepare the meatballs: In a bowl mix the minced beef, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, paprika, salt, and pepper. Shape the meatballs: Roll the mixture into small meatballs. Cook the meatballs: Heat a little oil in a pan and lightly brown the meatballs for about 5–6 minutes. They don’t need to cook fully yet. Make the creamy sauce: In a small pot melt butter, then stir in flour and cook for about 1 minute. Slowly add milk while stirring so it becomes smooth. Add the cream, mixed herbs, salt, and pepper. Let it thicken slightly. Assemble the bake: Place the meatballs in a small baking dish. Pour the creamy sauce over them. Add cheese and bake: Sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake at 180°C for about 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.Serving ideas:Serve with: Rice Mashed Potatoes Soft Bread Roasted Vegetables HAVE YOU TRIED THIS RECIPE?: Today’s Tasty Pick: Creamy Curry Chicken & Green Pepper Wraps Post navigation Today’s Tasty Pick: Creamy Curry Chicken & Green Pepper Wraps Today’s Tasty Pick: Creamy Coconut Veggie Bake
