This Easter weekend, Gauteng’s beloved Lion & Safari Park and Bothongo Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve are coming alive as family-friendly hubs of fun and adventure.

Visitors can look forward to an unforgettable blend of wildlife encounters, festive activities, and entertainment for all ages.

From 3–5 April, the parks will be buzzing with interactive kids’ experiences, fun competitions, and the rare opportunity to get up close to some of South Africa’s most iconic animals.

Easter fun and prizes await the whole family!

Tailored for families, both parks are rolling out a host of Easter-themed activities to keep little ones entertained all day long. From face painting and balloon sculpting to colouring stations—and a special visit from the Easter Bunny handing out eggs—there’s plenty to delight children of all ages.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. Visitors can also join a long-weekend social media contest: snap a photo at the parks’ on-site selfie frame, share it on Instagram, and tag the park for a chance to win unforgettable wildlife experiences.
