Founded by South African music heavyweight Zakes Bantwini, the Mayonie Open Air has established itself as a celebration of music, culture and community, bringing together audiences who appreciate the depth, energy and evolution of African electronic music. Da Capo and Enoo Napa will take to the stage for a highly anticipated back-to-back set, bringing together two distinctive musical forces for what promises to be one of the festival’s standout moments. They will be joined by Ciza, Oscar Mbo and Themba, adding their own sounds and energy to a line-up designed to take audiences on a journey from day into night. More artists will be announced soon, fans will be on the edge of their seats. The festival promises to be the biggest musical event of the year. With Constitution Hill providing the backdrop, Mayonie Open Air is set to create an experience that extends beyond the music. We were just in Durban, we’re excited about Johannesburg and give our audience an experience they won’t forget,” said Zakes Bantwini.
