Olay Olay fam!

I hope you are all doing well and surviving this weather because wow… these weekends are disappearing faster than airtime bundles. You blink once and boom — it’s already Monday again. At this point, weekends deserve an investigation honestly.

But anyway, I’m super grateful to be here with you all again today by the grace of God. And since the family is gathered, you already know it’s time for our official daily food meeting! No need for a long introduction because today’s agenda is too delicious to keep waiting.

Our VIP guest for today is: Garlic & Herb Lamb Mini Pots.

Now fam, winter is really doing the most lately. The cold has entered with confidence! So today we are fighting back the best way we know how — with a warm meal that feels like a blanket for your stomach.

Alright, before I start sounding like a motivational speaker (which I am), let me show you how to bring today’s beautiful star to life!

How to make Garlic & Herb Lamb Mini Pots

Serves: 2-4

Ingredients:
Lamb:

  • 400g lamb cubes
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon thyme or rosemary
  • Salt & black pepper

Sauce:

  • ½ cup cream or milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon flour (to thicken)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley

Method:

  1. Brown the lamb: Heat oil in a pan. Add lamb cubes and sear until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  2. Cook the aromatics: In the same pan, sauté onion and garlic until soft and fragrant. Add paprika, thyme/rosemary, salt & pepper.
  3. Make the creamy sauce: Melt butter in the pan, stir in flour for 1 minute. Slowly add cream/milk while stirring until smooth and slightly thickened.
  4. Combine & simmer: Return lamb to the pan. Simmer for 10–15 minutes until lamb is tender and the sauce coats the meat beautifully.
  5. Serve: Spoon the creamy lamb into small ramekins or mini pots. Garnish with chopped parsley.

Optional: Serve with a small piece of crusty bread for dipping.
