Happy CHOOSE DAY my favourite online family!

First things first… thank you for choosing me, the same way I chose you, and most importantly, the way our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ chose all of us. Amen!

Yoh fam… it is COLD cold. Please tell me we are all wrapped up like burritos, staying warm, and minding our business indoors as much as possible.

Anyway, now that your girl has officially arrived, we can begin today’s very important daily food meeting. No long stories, let’s get straight into the agenda.

Today’s superstar is: Asanda’s Triple Melt Stack.

And whew… let me tell you about this sandwich, my beautiful people. It may look innocent, but this baby is HEAVY. One bite and suddenly you want to take a nap. Because I don’t like food, I did mine with only four slices, but you can make yours with six slices.

Also fam, I couldn’t think of a fancy name for this masterpiece, so I simply used my own name — “Asanda”. But please feel free to rename it after yourself when you make your own stack… unless you love me enough to keep my name there forever. I mean… I wouldn’t complain.

Now come closer and let me show you how to bring today’s delicious star to life!

How to make Asanda’s Triple Melt Stack

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices of bread
  • 1 cup cooked chicken (shredded)
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise

Method:

  1. Caramelise the onions: In a pan, melt butter. Cook onions slowly until soft, golden, and sweet. Add garlic near the end.
  2. Make the creamy chicken filling:
    Mix:

    *Chicken
    *Cream Cheese
    *Mayonnaise
    *Salt & Pepper
  3. Build the sandwich:
    Layer onto bread:

    *Creamy Chicken
    *Caramelised Onions
    *Grated Cheese
Stack another slice on top and repeat lightly for a thick “triple stack.”
  4. Toast it: Butter the outside lightly.
Toast in a pan on low heat until:
    *Golden outside
    *Cheese melts beautifully
  5. Slice & serve: Cut diagonally for that dramatic cheesy pull

    Extra tip:
*Serve with a tiny side of chips or hot tea
