Happy FriYaaay, my favourite people!

First of all, can we all agree that this weather has been acting like it pays rent in our lives? Because wow!

I’m currently typing this with a hot cup of ginger tea in one hand and my dignity in the other, trying to negotiate with my throat before it decides to launch a full protest. If my voice disappears tomorrow, just know… the tea fought bravely.

Anyway, enough about my dramatic immune system — welcome back to our daily food gathering, let’s get straight to the point.

Today’s main character? Garlic Chicken Crêpe Rolls.

And listen, by now you already know the Friday rule: we do NOT suffer on Fridays. Fridays are for easy meals, minimal stress, and cooking that doesn’t take your time. We are entering the weekend respectfully, and with good food.

Now yes, I know we already flirted with those cucumber rolls earlier this week — and honestly, they were cute. But THIS recipe? Hmm. This one might walk straight into your favourites list, unpack its bags, and refuse to leave.

So come closer and let me show you how to bring this delicious little superstar to life!

  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • ¼ cup milk
  • Salt & black pepper

Cheese sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup grated cheese

Method:

  1. Make the crêpes:
    Mix:

    *Flour
    *Egg
    *Milk
    *Salt
    *Oil
Cook thin crêpes in a lightly oiled pan. Set aside.
  2. Make the filling:
    In a pan, combine:

    *Chicken
    *Cream Cheese
    *Garlic
    *Milk
    *Salt & Pepper
    Cook until creamy and warm.
  3. Fill & roll: Spoon filling into each crêpe and roll them up. Place into a baking dish.
  4. Make the cheese sauce: Melt butter. Add flour and stir. Slowly add milk while stirring. Add cheese and stir until smooth.
  5. Finish it off: Pour sauce over the crêpe rolls. Bake at 180°C for 10–15 minutes until bubbling.

    Extra tip:
*Sprinkle black pepper and a little parsley on top before serving for that elegant finish
